Welcome to Mealwise. By using this app, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the relevant services.
Some features require sign-in, a network connection, system permissions, an active membership or the availability of third-party services.
We continue to improve the product and may adjust, suspend or discontinue features for operational, security, compliance or technical reasons.
2. Account and security
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and usable, and for protecting your sign-in methods. You are responsible for losses caused by voluntarily disclosing your account information.
You must not impersonate others, share accounts for abnormal use, bypass membership restrictions, attack the service or interfere with other users.
If you notice unusual account activity, sign-in issues, purchase problems or data issues, contact us through support.
3. User content
You are responsible for meal records, images, dish names, notes, ingredients and recipes that you upload, enter or save.
Your content must not be unlawful, infringing or malicious, or violate the privacy, image rights, intellectual property or other lawful rights of others.
To provide recognition, recommendations, storage, display, customer support and security handling, you authorize Mealwise to process the content you submit within the scope of the service.
4. Membership and automatic renewal
Mealwise may offer automatically renewing Pro subscriptions through the Apple App Store. Products may include monthly, quarterly and annual memberships. Names, billing periods, trial eligibility and localized prices are shown on the in-app purchase page and Apple purchase confirmation screen.
Subscriptions are charged through your Apple ID and may renew automatically before the current period ends. You can view, cancel or manage subscriptions in Apple ID subscription settings on iOS.
Restore Purchases retrieves entitlements that remain valid under the same Apple account. If information from Apple or the payment system is delayed, membership status may take a short time to synchronize.
Cancellations, refunds and payment disputes are handled by the Apple App Store. Membership benefits, quotas, prices and offers may vary by version or region. Refer to the app and the Apple App Store confirmation screen for current details.
5. Privacy and system permissions
Mealwise requests system permissions, such as camera, Photos, microphone or notifications, only when you choose to use the relevant features.
You can manage or turn off permissions in iOS settings. Features that depend on them may become unavailable, while other available features remain usable.

6. Limits of AI recommendations
AI recognition, AI image generation, nutrition estimates, recipe suggestions and meal recommendations may contain errors and are intended only to support everyday recordkeeping and choices.
Mealwise does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment advice, disease management plans or professional nutrition prescriptions. Consult a qualified professional about medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, children’s diets or special dietary requirements.
Use your own circumstances to decide whether to follow a recommendation, and check dishes, ingredients, allergens, portions and nutrition estimates before saving or using them.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious or unrelated content, or attack, interfere with, reverse engineer or abuse Mealwise services.
You must not consume service resources, AI quotas or membership benefits through automation, bulk requests, false identities, cracking, bypassing restrictions or other abnormal methods.
If we identify unlawful activity, infringement complaints, abnormal use or security risks, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or take necessary security measures.
8. EULA, changes and contact
In addition to these terms, downloading and using Mealwise through the Apple App Store is subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
If these terms or our services change materially, we will notify you through in-app pages, release notes or other reasonable means.
